My name is Jean Grimard. I teach Suzuki and jazz violin/viola. I also play keyboards, arrange string ensembles pieces and compose, whatever my students need. I build this site so I could post practice videos and mp3s for my students without having to go through Youtube. This is also somewhat of private site, which I do not publicise in any way. So I feel free to post videos that are not necessarily "finished" products. I do have a commercial site under construction called quadruplum.com, which I will be using for finished materials and products

Below are two examples of videos which I would not put on Youtube but that I would upload here for my students to see.

15-02-14, Suzuki Violin Dress Rehearsal, Bach Gavotte

This is the first video. This is a nice performance at a
dress rehearsal. However, I do talk a lot. There were
reasons for this because of the rehearsal context,
but it doesn't make for the best listening experience.

15-02-15, Suzuki Violin Concert, Bach Gavotte

This is the second video. A nice Concert performance.
However, as I was the person setting up the camera
and running the Concert, I did not have the chance to
check if the framing was right. This is why my head is
chopped off. It could be argued, on the other hand,
that this is some form of improvement.

You will also notice that there are many unresponsive or empty links in the menu and the navigation all across the site. In fact right now, almost everything is empty :)
I prepared the design to be ready to receive content at any time, so I included in the menu all the things I might like to add eventually. This way I can can concentrate on adding content rather than editing the design. I will post notifications about updated content in the "News" section.
